Driving Thailand - Fun and Excitement Altogether
With stunning beaches of white sands and blue seas, rich culture and incredible shopping, Thailand is truly one of the world's best travel destinations. It is a world-renowned place to go for honeymooners and families alike, with entertainment and activities to suit everyone's budget.
The weather:
The elements in Thailand is mainly humid and hot throughout the year, with just a couple of months of cool weather. Since it is a tropical country, Thailand has the typical three seasons found in countries from the tropical region. There is a hot, cool and rainy season but usually it's good for visiting throughout the year. The temperature usually ranges from 19-38 degrees Celsius that is pleasant enough for most of us going to Thailand.
Geography:
Thailand is divided into five regions, its northern border, the Northeast, Eastern region, Central region and also the South. Within the Northern peaks you will find beautiful forests full of exotic wildlife and hill tribes. The central plains are classified as the "Rice Bowl of Asia". Bangkok is also found in the central region of Thailand. All over the Northeastern plateau which stretches from the Mekong River border with Laos towards the south you'll find resplendent beaches and stunning islands which include Phuket and Samui.
Accommodation:
Thailand boasts probably the most beautiful resorts and hotels in the world. From five-star luxury resorts in tropical islands like Koh Samui to stunning hotels in the heart of Bangkok city, there's a hotel available to fit everyone's budget. The high season in Thailand is from December to February when it is cool, and off-season comes from May to August which is typically the hot season.
Travel and transport:
Travelling within Thailand is extremely well-organized. All modern means of transport are for sale to travelling purposes which include travelling by bus, taxi, rail, boat, airplanes as well as the traditional rickshaws. Regardless if you are travelling within Bangkok, visiting the beautiful islands or even trying to reach the country's remotest destinations, you will find well-planned way of transportation which meet everyone's budget. All of the modes of transportation have well-defined and frequent departures to accommodate locals and foreigners alike. Ideally you should book your travelling means and accommodation from your home country but last-minute arrivals will also be possible with no hassles.
